Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropathologist to join our pathology team in New York. The Neuropathologist will specialize in the diagnosis and study of diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and skeletal muscles through microscopic examination of tissue, laboratory testing, and collaboration with clinical teams. This role plays a critical part in supporting neurosurgery, oncology, neurology, and research initiatives.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in diagnostic neuropathology, intraoperative consultations, and neurodegenerative disease pathology, while contributing to multidisciplinary care and academic advancement.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology.
- Fellowship training in Neuropathology.
- Eligible for or currently holding a New York State medical license.
- Strong diagnostic expertise in neuropathologic diseases and CNS tumors.
