The Opportunity
- Lead a high-volume regional laboratory operation with more than 300 employees, supporting a broad network of hospitals and emergency care facilities.
- Play a key role in strategic initiatives focused on expanding advanced molecular testing capabilities, supporting the future of precision medicine and targeted therapies.
- Join a nationally recognized pathology team of more than 200 board-certified multispecialty pathologists providing expert professional services across a large healthcare network.
- Champion innovation within the pathology service line, including digital pathology implementation and ongoing quality-driven, evidence-based care initiatives.
- Responsibilities include general surgical pathology sign-out and comprehensive oversight of histology and clinical laboratory operations.
Qualified Candidates
Required:
- AP/CP Board Certification
- Medical Director experience in a hospital-based setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Commitment to advancing digital pathology and laboratory innovation
Preferred:
- Fellowship or subspecialty training
- Florida medical license or FCVS profile in place
