AP/CP Pathologist with Subspecialty Expertise – Physician Owned Multihospital Practice
PENSACOLA, FL (USA). Vivid Pathology, located in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking a full-time general surgical pathologist to join our growing physician-owned pathology practice. Vivid Pathology provides pathology services for Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, Baptist Health Care Pensacola, and multiple hospitals and physician practices throughout the Florida Panhandle and lower Alabama.
Our anatomic pathology department is comprised of ten pathologists with subspecialty expertise including gastrointestinal pathology, dermatopathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology. The practice currently provides services to thirteen hospitals spanning from Mobile, Alabama to Port St. Joe, Florida.
The ideal candidate will possess an MD or DO degree (or equivalent) and be board certified or board eligible in anatomic pathology. Fellowship training or additional experience in surgical pathology subspecialties is welcomed but not required. Specific specialties that are a plus: Hematology, Cytology, GU, Head and Neck, Breast, Neuro. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain medical licenses in both Florida and Alabama.
