We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatopathologist for a Partnership Track position with potential partnership within 12–24 months in a physician-led, multispecialty private practice environment. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative group of experienced physicians providing high-quality patient care within a supportive and collegial culture.
The practice focuses primarily on dermatopathology, with a diverse and engaging caseload consisting largely of outpatient surgical biopsies. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced dermatopathologists and benefit from a dynamic case mix drawn from a broad regional referral base. Current fellows are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and diagnose dermatopathology specimens, including outpatient surgical biopsy material.
- Provide high-quality diagnostic services with a focus on dermatopathology.
- Perform frozen section interpretation and general surgical pathology duties as needed.
- Collaborate with dermatologists, surgeons, and clinical teams to support patient care.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to maintaining high diagnostic standards within the group.
- Optionally engage in academic or teaching activities if desired.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and quality standards.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatopathology.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Strong surgical pathology skills, including frozen section interpretation.
- Eligibility for state medical licensure.
- Excellent diagnostic ability, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented private practice environment.
