We are seeking a General Pathologist for our Laboratory.
Qualifications
- AP/CP certification
- Complete work (S, FN, C, A) in a timely and fiscal fashion
- Participate in evening and weekend call rotations
- Participate in holiday call rotations
- Present at tumor boards (breast, general, neuro, lung)
- Participate in hospital committee(s)
- Participate in the daily procedures (frozens, EBUS, CT/US)
- Medical directorship at surrounding hospitals/clinics
- Cover on site procedures
- Participate in the autopsy rotation (if this continues)
- Participate in education of medical students and residents
- Cover for each other, when needed
- Gross when needed
- Actively participate in monthly departmental meetings (QA, etc)
- Be actively involved in the clinical laboratory
- Perform peripheral smear reviews
- Perform evaluation of possible transfusion reactions
